It is important to note that not all dirt is the same. Many builders place what is called in the industry "builders grade" top soil. This typically is very low in organic content, high in silt and sand which inhibits the growth of vegetation and does not retain moisture for plants.

We use a premium screened top soil high in organic content that is comparable to garden mix. It is rich in nutrients & retains moisture well (means less watering).
